GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP
Research Assistant
I have assisted Professor Corey Saft with HABS Drawings for the Richard Cattle Auction Barn in Abbeville, LA. I have also helped plan, design, and layout multiple affordable housing projects in the Lafayette, LA area, and I assisted with the production and editing of the LA Housing Lab Housing Heuristics Booklet (2019 Edition).
Teacher's Assistant
One of the greatest joys of being a teacher's assistant is being able to motivate, cultivate, and inspire young designers. I have assisted Assistant Professor Sarah Young with 1st Year Design Studio by offering helpful critiques, reviews, and grading.
I have also taught a course on computer programs with Assistant Professor Nadya Kozinets, in this course we taught the basics for AutoCAD and Revit to upper-undergraduate students.

WHAT I WILL BRING TO THE TABLE
OBSERVANT AND RESPONSIVE
Engage & Influence
When entering a new environment, I become observant of people, actions, etc.. Learning from those who are where I want to be. I am confident in my abilities but I am constantly challenging myself to become better and more efficient. As a designer, my job is to identify the problem, access the existing conditions, devise the most effective scheme, and produce.
MOTIVATED, DISCIPLINED, AND PASSIONATE
Expand Your Network
I am highly motivated to accomplishing every goal I set before myself, but I possess a quality called discipline. I stay locked in and determined to finish the job on time; willing to take any sacrifice deemed necessarily. I'm passionate about providing the best David Allen to the table. This means I will only bring the best of my work, advice, and self every single day.
DILIGENT AND INNOVATED
Cutting Edge
Hardest Worker in the Room. I may not be the smartest or most talented person in the room, but no one can say they out-work me. I am not afraid to fail and fail again; quitting is never an option. I must produce at the highest level; it is what you expect and it is what I expect from myself.
Fall in Love with the Process.
Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
"The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams."
